to a bug.

Enterprise, Alabama is my hometown and also the only city in the US with such a bug honoring monument and if I told you the iron gate around it has been electrified for a good number of years it would probably have nothing to do with the fact we may or may not have stolen the bug in high school and other classes may or may not have stolen the bug as well.

If you find yourself annoyed by my blatant use of the runonsentence you'll probably not want to come back here ever again amen.   If you find yourself intriqued by a robe clad Grecian lady holding a giant bug in the deep southern south of the US, The Boll Weevil Monument is Googlable .

It is also in the center of downtown in the city in which I now live again...a city I was loathe to ever return to when I left at 18 but have since discovered isn't quite as awful as I'd once believed which means I've either grown up or it has grown better or maybe both.

So for now I am still in Alabama 10 miles from where I was 3 weeks ago, and when my responsibilities here are fulfilled the packing and moving begins again ~ destination Oregon.  I'll let y'all know when that happens because I know you are just dying to help. 

In the meantime I'm enjoying reconnecting with old haunts and old friends and the taking of crazy pictures in old haunts with old friends.

I'm also doing a little beading.
